Community Appreciation Blog: Week 4 Recap

Week 4 results are in! K2 Spotted just won the Weekly Club Challenge for a second week in a row! They beat the Dream Team and BDGA League by an average of 3 strokes! Thank you everyone for participating in this week’s Club Challenge and make sure to get your team ready for next week.

Now it’s time for the Games Village to defend their King of the Hill Trophy for the 4^th time! This will be a battle to follow considering K2 Spotted only lost last week’s King of the Hill event by .1 of a stroke. It all starts today and will run through the weekend. The winner of the match will have their team name/extra date added to the King of the Hill Trophy. Good Luck to both teams!

Create a Main Menu Banner!

Create your very own banner for Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 2010 and you might just see it in game! Make team banners, award banners, shout outs to good players, or anything creative that relates to Tiger Woods golf that would make everyone proud of your awesome work. You could also create a banner to promote your very own Live Tournament. Just send the specs of the Live Tournament and the banner promoting your tournament to Ea Brandt on facebook and you might just see your very own tournament over the weekend! (Hint: Halloween is coming soon)

Dimensions: Width 640, Height 134 (pixels)

*Leave some empty space along the left and right sides on the image as shown below to make sure the text is not cut off.

Format: Save the file as a .jpeg or .png (can use alpha to fade out the edges)

Text: Banners can fit about 15 – 20 words. Make sure the text is larger than 22 pt font size.

Club Challenge

Create a club or join an existing one to participate in Week 5 of the Club Challenge. When you have a club, your team will get its very own VIP tournament. Only your team will be allowed to submit scores within your tournament. At the end of the week, we look at everyone’s scores and calculate a club average. The club with the best average score wins and gets to play in another special VIP tournament against the Dev Team or the current King of the Hill Champions from the previous week. Next rounds start October 27, 2009 at 5pm. Your club needs at least 20 players to submit a score or your team will incur a penalty for each missing player. If you’re looking for a team, search for one of the current teams listed above on facebook.
